In December 2021 I gifted a class of Savasana prior to our Christmas break. Resting is not an easy activity as we can either be so tired that our rest turns into sleep, or so anxious our rest turns into a mentally exhausting exercise of rumination, worry, discomfort. Did you know that rest takes practice? To rest our minds and our bodies is a wakeful practice of stilling our physical responsiveness, as well as the constant neural activity of thought.
